Riverton

Hi Rivertonians!

This update took a lot of testing, so I want to thank all of the players that have so graciously opened their own facilities and tested it during the soft launch. Thank you for making this game better every day!

Additions

• Facilities are now open across Riverton! Players can open a business of the following types, which will give you income when other players interact with your Facility: Training Center, Veterinary Clinic, Therapy Center, Riding School, Stables, and Boarding Facility. You can read an overview and deeper explanation of Facilities, how they work, and how to build one in the Help Center. Be aware that your animals will be considered busy and unable to compete or be played with while in a Facility!
  • Tip: Players who check out early or are kicked by Facility Owners for overstaying their welcome do not receive any benefits, so be sure to check out your animals (or yourself!) on time.
• Site Search is available to search for players (or their stables name) and items, including where they're available to purchase.
• Referrals are here! Players can reward their referring players by including them on their registration. At this time, those who meet certain referral milestones will receive Badges for their efforts, but this will be fleshed out in a further update to include rewards for anyone who was referred (retroactively and moving forward).
• There is now a Quarterly Roadmap for the remainder of 2026 to see what's coming visually!
• New Backdrops submitted by players are available in the Main Street Tack Shop! If you're interested in making some Backdrops that can be sold in the Tack Shop, send me a message and let me know! :)

Adjustments

• The navigation menu at the top of the website got a bit of a makeover to be more accessible to keyboard-only players and friendlier to narrower screens. Thank you to autumnrain and Laika for letting me know.
• Strawberry Shortcakes are now able to be made instead of telling you the recipe doesn't exist.
• You can now click on your adoptables in the Livestock Pen and be taken to their management page.
• Some adjustments to styling on some browsers should make things feel more compact rather than too spaced out.
• Issues with Students graduating should be fixed. Please reach out if you have any further issues with Careers progressing.
