Hi Rivertonians!
One of the most anticipated features of Riverton, clothing for horses, is now here! The Tack Shop was quietly introduced in October as we fleshed out some bugs. Everything appears to be working, so we're launching it officially! If you have any suggestions for future horse decorations, please let me know!
Additions
- The Tack Shop is now open to decorate your horses! You can now dress your horses in all kinds of gear. More will be coming over the next few months as I work with our artist to get more types of gear and decorations for your adoptables. Seasonal costumes will also be available!
- You can now purchase a Walkman in the Bazaar and listen to Cassette Tapes you find around Riverton! You can purchase your first tape from the Bazaar as well. As you find tapes throughout Riverton, as long as they stay in your inventory, they'll remain on your playlist.
- Once you've collected enough in your inventory, you'll receive Badges depending on the amount of Cassette Tapes you have. (Hint: There's over 35 Cassette Tapes to collect!)
- Tip: If you only have one song, every song perfectly loops so it won't be unpleasant to listen to!
Adjustments
- The Stable Rankings now include the monthly competition numbers so our rankings will be more accurate and transparent. Starting January 1st, 2026, the all-time list will become "2026 Competition Champions" and will update every year.
- Gallop & Grain patrons will notice the gift preferences of the person you're wanting to give a gift to!
- The payouts for the Boba Cafe have been increased.
- Items that are used and not needed (e.g. food when at full health) will be returned to your inventory.
Coming soon
Right now, my biggest priority is giving players customization options. The feature at the moment I'm working on is interior home decoration. I want to hear from you as well, though! If you have any features or customization options you'd like to see implemented, let me know.
