Horse Breeding & Pedigrees
Breeding costs $5,000 per successful breeding at the Breeding Center. Sometimes it can fail, depending on your horse's mood, health, and dirtiness. Sometimes, the parents may not breed properly, or the offspring may not survive easily. Every pet also has a maximum of 7 times they can breed successfully to maintain the health of the horse.
When you successfully breed a horse, you create a breeding record for the foals that result. The parents will be recorded and, if that foal is bred, its offspring will have a Pedigree that goes back to its grandparents. Two generations of horses are kept on your pet's Profile.
Breeding horses with high skills will pass on elevated skills to their foals. Pedigrees can establish meaningful and competitive lineages for your horses that is entirely up to you. Want to have a Pedigree of racing horses, developing a champion lineage? Train your horses enough in Speed and that skill affinity will pass down to its offspring.
You can view your pet's personality, pedigree, and/or skills by visiting their Profile.
