Horse Careers
Every horse has a career level that reflects their competitive experience. Career progress is tracked per horse, not per player. Career level determines which competitions they are eligible to enter:
| Level | How to Reach It |
|---|---|
| Rookie | Starting level for all horses |
| Pro | Complete 5 competitions as a Rookie |
| Retired | Complete 25 competitions as a Pro |
Promotion from Rookie to Pro, and subsequent retirement, happen automatically when the competition completes. A horse that reaches retirement mid-competition will finish that competition normally but cannot be entered in any further competitions afterward.
Keep an eye on your horses' career progress in the entry form. It shows their current competition count toward the next milestone. Every horse you enter earns that competition on its record when the results are posted, even if they aren't your best-placed horse in that competition. Every horse's career is tracked on their profile page above their skills.
Retirement
Retired horses cannot compete in any competitions. Plan your entries accordingly: once a horse retires, their competitive career is over.
